So, you want to audition for a show?
Auditioning is easy! But the most asked question LFC receives is about what is needed to audition. Here's the checklist:
1. You, your body + mind.
2. A minute-long monologue--this can be ANYTHING. Something from a book, a play, a musical, a stan-up routine, or just a funny anecdote you have about your life. What we really want to see is who YOU are!
3. This one is optional, depending on if you're auditioning for The Rocky Horror Picture Show (fall) or the musical (spring). A minute-long section of a song that will show off your voice (a capella, please!). Again, this can be from anything.
We don't need any fancy headshots, and we don't need your CVs. You'll be asked to write down your schedule and contact info before you go into your audition, that way we can find you if you're cast!
That's all there is to an LFC audition. If you have any other questions, feel free to stop by our meetings on Tuesdays in Bentley 009 at 7PM!
